Graphics Fairy accent table

There is still time, but hurry! It ends soon!

Now, onto our latest little project. This little accent table was our first project with a graphic. We love the Graphics Fairy and all that she shares!
For this one, we painted the top in French Linen, took our printed out image and used the newspaper transfer method. Simply lay a piece of newspaper (classifieds work best) on the table top then place the printed graphic on top. Then use a pencil to trace the design.

Next, I just traced over the design using a black sharpie, then lightly sanded it to give it an aged look.
The base of the table was painted with Old White, then a color wash with French Linen.

What a fun, easy way to add interest to a plain little table, don't you think?
