Cabinets and New Projects

Don't forget about our Link Party and

Coco AND French Linen
Chalk Paint Giveaway!

Now, here is what we have been working on lately.....
We are testing out colors for cabinets and having so much fun playing! The sample above was created with Chateau Grey as the base coat, then clear wax, followed by a custom tinted wax. For the tinted wax, we added Versailles and Old Ochre and a little bit of dark wax to some clear wax. Really like the depth and variations in the color!
Had fun playing with a stencil too, simply used dark wax for that.

And here is a peek of a few projects we have in the works....
Look at all the details in these two! We are very excited to get busy on these.
Hope to have the "afters" very soon...
Hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe, especially on the east coast.

We will be getting our hands covered in paint at our workshop on Saturday!
Looking forward to it!

  1. I was wondering if ASCP would be suitable for cabinets. The stencil design is pretty. You used wax to transfer the image?

Most definitely you can use Chalk Paint on cabinets! As for the stencil it is just dark wax. Very easy and beautiful.

  5. Hi Amber and Brad!
I just received my ASCP from you last week and am having a great time with it! Still getting used to the waxing...having fun trying different techniques. It's beautiful paint and amazes me all you can do with it! Love the cabinet door and stencil you did! I painted a tray today and am going to stencil tomorrow but I never thought of using wax to stencil it. It won't smear? Thanks for all! JoAnn

  6. So glad you are enjoying the paint! Be sure to share pictures of your work, we love seeing how creative everyone is (and getting inspiration too!)

There is no smearing after the wax is dry, and it looks just gorgeous! Let us know how your project turns out!
