You want the clear wax to still be tacky when you apply the dark wax, that way it is workable. Also, the dark wax goes a long way, so you don't need a whole lot. Today I wanted to add more detail so I tried the dark wax and it was so dark that I had to completely repaint the area I put it on. I tried to get it off really fast but it dried too fast. Could you give me a pointer on using the dark wax that I might be missing?
